For the Mets, it’s time to get down to business.

Players gradually arrived in cars turning in from 126th Street as two black and gray Academy buses and a white truck were being loaded up. At 10:34 a.m. the buses and the truck drove out of the team’s private parking lot and made a left onto 126th Street, beginning their journey to Kansas City.

The Royals host the Mets in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday.
